WaterPOD installation at Central College, Mityana, Uganda – 2023
Safe, clean water for the World!! We are committed to providing safe, clean drinking water across Africa. As a way of promoting good health, education, and sustainability, we installed a WaterPOD, a high-capacity water purification system at a school with over 3,000 students and 600 staff. The WaterPOD neither uses chemicals nor electricity to purify the water thus reducing the carbon footprint and saving the school a lot of money spent on firewood to boil the water. The system also reduced plastic waste and littering of used mineral water bottles at the school which greatly affect the environment. The entire project included purchase of metals for tank stand welding, transportation & concreting the tank stand at the school, purchase of plumbing materials, installation of the water storage/gravity tank, plumbing works and finally connecting the storage tank to the WaterPOD.
WaterPOD installation in Point of Grace Academy, Kisumu, Kenya – 2018
In 2018, the orphanage school had over 1,500 students with no access to safe clean water. Located at the shores of L. Victoria, students and teachers struggled to fetch water from the lake which is filled with contaminants and infested with crocodiles as well. We stepped in and provided the technology filtered the lake water directly from the lake to the school so that students and teachers can have access to safe clean water for drinking, cooking, bathing..etc thus improving their academic performance and welfare.
